Votran Offers Free Rides to the Polls on Election Day
November 2, 2026
Volusia County, FL – Volusia County voters can ride VoTran for free on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, by showing their Voter Information Card when boarding. The free ride service does not include VoRide.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must vote at their assigned polling place on Election Day.
“Having a plan to get to the polls is an important part of being election ready,” said Volusia County Supervisor of Elections, Lisa Lewis. “We appreciate VoTran helping voters get to their polling places and encouraging anyone using this service to review their route and schedule ahead of time.”
Buses will operate along their regular routes, so riders should check to see if their assigned polling location is along a VoTran route. Riders can plan their trip using the Trip Planner function on our website or by using the VoTran On Demand app.
For information about VoTran routes, schedules, and service, visit Votran.org or call Customer Service at (386) 761-7700.
