Votran services amid COVID-19 crisis

March 18, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 crisis, Votran has increased sanitary precautions to better protect riders.

In addition to regularly scheduled cleaning practices of buses and facilities, special attention is being paid to high contact areas, including handrails, fare boxes, seats, door handles and stop request cords. Informational signage is also being placed in all buses to educate riders on guidelines to reduce the spread of germs. Votran staff has also been provided with information on personal protection measures.

Per the Centers for Disease Control recommendations regarding social distancing, the public is encouraged to avoid travel when possible. However, at this time, Votran continues to operate under a normal schedule for those reliant on public transportation.
