The county development of Votran’s fiscal year 2018 budget includes:

  • Increased frequency on Routes 7 and 11 from 60 minutes to 30 minutes, with a proposed start of February 2018.
  • Addition of a new route to serve the State Road 44 corridor from the beachside to the Walmart in New Smyrna Beach, with a proposed start of June 2018.
  • Addition of holiday service on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day this year.

Two public meetings will be held in an open-house format to discuss the proposed service improvements.
